In the 1930’s Bicat worked extensively as a set designer for the theatre, including a New York production of Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot. From 1966-1974 he was tutor in the printmaking departments at the Royal College of Art and the Guilds Art School in London where he was known as an inspiring teacher, helping to pass on his skills to younger artists...
